She hasn't appeared in EastEnders in more than a year.

But Preeya Kalidas can clearly still turn heads even if she is not on the small screen every week as she turned up to the British Asian Trust party on Wednesday night in an eye-catchingly short dress.

The 33-year-old actress sported a canary yellow gown for the event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in west London and also stood out thanks to her sparkling gold high heels.

The 26-year-old star ensured she wrapped up warm for the evening in a white coat and black boots.

Both Preeya and Emeli looked princess-worthy in their respective attire, and they were joined by royalty at the event in the shape of Prince Charles.

The Prince of Wales, 65, scam sported a blue pinstripe suit for the occasion and matched his look with a blue and white tie and a striped shirt.

He was spotted chatting to Emeli, DJ Naughty Boy and former tennis player Boris Becker at the event.

News presenter Tasmin Lucia Khan - who is an ambassador for the charity - also attended the event and dressed in a Khubsoorat Collection blue and gold patterned gown with a deep red trim and a matching headdress.

The brunette stunner was clearly looking forward to meeting Charles at the event.

She wrote on Twitter beforehand: 'Yay! On my way to meet my fellow ambassadors and Prince Charles at the @britishasiantst dinner at the V&A. Excited. (sic)'
