EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin Early autism project malaysia Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a preliminary training including 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is called for prior to beginning work with a child with autism after which routine fortnightly otherwise weekly supervision is provided with normal overlaps and group conferences.

Furthermore, WEAP's released study in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 issue) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the kids that joined the intensive behavioral therapy were able to capture up and get involved efficiently in normal institution.

Each kid at EAP is appointed a group of therapists who are supervised by a Supervisor on a biweekly basis and a Senior Manager on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progress Reviews twice a year. EAP continues to keep world-class high quality ABA therapy as we remain to have our parent company WEAP manage our children two times a year.

In 2020, the Hope Task launched Autism At Home - an online system to release free video resources and on the internet product. EAP's senior center group looks after the high quality of ABA therapy offered at EAP and entirely has a mixed experience of 32 years of professional practice in the field of ABA.
